GENERAL INFORMATION

   
  The Texas Professional Photographers Association proudly presents the 34th Annual Texas School of Professional Photography, at the University of Texas in Arlington             May 3-8, 2009.
   
  TUITION FOR REGULAR CLASSES: $435.00 (TPPA Members), $520.00 (non-TPPA Members). Some classes have extra materials fees, payable to the instructor. REMEMBER: $25.00 late charge for payment received after Feb. 15, 2009. Registration will be January 3rd 2009, at 11:00PM (not midnight this time... which was a bit confusing in the past).
   
 

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS: Enrollment and orientation will be held Sunday, May 3, 2009 with classes starting Sunday evening. Classes will end Friday, May 8, at noon. Attendance is required at all class sessions for graduation.

   
  QUALIFICATIONS: Courses have been categorized into three levels: 
   
  * Basic Level - Designed for students with very limited photographic experience or for a refresher course for experienced students.

* Intermediate Level
- Designed for students with at least two years experience.

* Advanced Level - Designed for students with at least five years of experience or those well grounded in most aspects of photography. PLEASE BE SURE YOU QUALIFY FOR CATEGORY OF CLASS.
   
 

DRESS CODE is casual. We can have weird weather in the spring, so you might bring a sweater or light jacket. You should also bring comfortable shoes.

   
  EVENING MEALS: There will be sponsored food functions each evening. Also included in your tuition are: a school photograph, a certificate of completion, and 2 PPA merits for PPA members, and one-year access to Instructor Study Sets of ALL instructors, provided all requirements for graduation are met.
   
  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Information, supplies and equipment requirements will be sent with confirmation of your application. A student handbook will also be sent.
