Don Dickson, the Texas School Director, said, \u201cWe are excited to host about 200 international guests from 40 countries. This will only be the second time the WPC has been awarded in the United States in the last 15 years of the program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the best-of-the-best from around the globe compete for the honor of winning the World Photographic Cup. Like the Olympic Games, the Cup awards individuals\u2019 images with gold, silver, and bronze medals. Then, teams earn points based on an aggregate score of the top ten images in all categories.
