Class Description

Ready for an adventure into all things high school senior? Feel like you need a creative push alongside others that have been in business for a while?

This class thrives on gear, wagons, locations, Advil, and Jesus!

If you have an established senior business and are looking to break into Media Day style Sportraits or Varsity Teams (or vice versa), this advanced lighting, posing, and business class is where you need to be.

You’ll be asked to create in challenging spaces like garages, gyms, studio shooting bays, and in all kinds of weather. If it’s not raining or snowing, we’ll make our own. My goal is to help you walk into any space and confidently create.

If you’re looking to scale up your volume sports teams, I’ll show you how to plan & attack the pre/on-site/& post processes to keep you organized and moving forward. There will be lecture that details portrait & sports collections as well as social media marketing that speaks to parents & teens.

You’ll capture behind the scenes video to produce a Hype Film in Animoto.

We will go on location every day; you’ll be carpooling with other students if you’re flying in. Class will start early and run late.

This class assumes you’re shooting on manual exposure and using manual flash. You should already be using 1-2 lights and are prepared to be challenged up to 4.

Arlington Camera will graciously lend strobes/modifiers/stands if needed and gear will be discounted at the end of class in hopes that you buy. You should already own, will borrow from a friend, or will advise me that you need to request the below gear from Arlington Camera:

1. Main light- a. ONE 400/500/600w Strobe b. Approx 3ft modifier (any shape) c. Grid for modifier
