Class Description
Learn the basics (and not so basics) of Photoshop in a week-long program.
We’ll work Hands-On learning the tools, actions, other techniques for speeding up your images snap, crackle and pop. Camera Raw, retouching, cloning, healing brush, keyboard shortcuts and many more ways to help build your skills.
We’ll show the easiest ways to remove people and objects from your image. How to composite, change colors of various things.
We’ll learn layers, masks, brushes, type tool along with tips and tricks to make it easy.
We’ll shoot one morning to show various techniques of loading your images to camera raw to processing, all made easy.
You will go home with a load of knowledge and have fun doing it.

Michael Collins has been a professional photographer for over 30 years and has served on the board of directors for the Professional Photographers of California becoming President in 2007-2008.
Michael is a PPA Master Craftsman, Certified Professional Photographer, has earned the Professional Photographers of California Service Award (with 18 additional bars), the California Master Degree, Fellowship Award, Business and Arts Degree, Evans-Kingham and National Award in California. He also won the PPC People’s Choice Award in 2013 and Professional Photographers of Idaho Peoples Choice Award in 2022.
In 2023 he was elected to the PPC Hall of Fame.
He has written several articles, published in both photographic and law enforcement magazines. He has hosted an On-Line Photoshop Program (Photoshop Party) for the last four years, having created over 200 episodes on various topics related to Photoshop. Michael started his Photoshop career on version 2.5 so basically, he has been there since the beginning.
