Class Description

This class is built for photographers who serve real people in real communities.
You’ll work directly with the subjects Mandy photographs every day—high school seniors, families, and business headshot clients—using both studio and on-location lighting scenarios. Some time will be spent on post production to polish up the images that are taken in class. and how to deliver high end products to your clients.
We’ll also talk about forming mutually beneficial relationships in your community that will make you the person people want to do business with. This class is for newer photographers who are ready to build (or strengthen) a studio-based portrait business—whether they’re just opening a studio in a retail space, working out of a home studio, or sharing space with other photographers.
If you’re new to studio work, this course will give you the foundation to feel confident with lighting and posing. Students need to bring their camera, at least one portrait lens, memory cards, card reader, a laptop computer and storage device, and a Wacom tablet if you own one. Feel free to bring your own lighting equipment if you want some help using it.
