Class Description
Image competition is one of the most effective ways to strengthen your photography, but getting started can feel overwhelming.
Whether you are preparing for your first local, state, or international competition or working toward your PPA Master Photographer degree through Merit Image Review, this class will give you the knowledge and confidence to take the next step and enjoy the process along the way.
Drawing from his experience as both a juror and an entrant, PG will demystify the image competition process, share his personal approach, and highlight common mistakes that can keep otherwise strong photographs from reaching their full potential.
More importantly, you will learn how to interpret feedback, develop a healthier perspective on competition, and use the experience to grow as an artist.
Whether your goal is to earn merits, win awards, or simply become a more thoughtful and intentional photographer, the principles taught in this class will help you see your images differently and elevate your work for both clients and competition.
