Class Description

Every unforgettable experience begins with an idea. The challenge isn’t having ideas. It’s learning how to turn those ideas into a business where every decision works together with purpose.

Join Scot and Sharon Benton as they share how those ideas grew into a 21-year photography business and, over the past ten years, into Santa’s Enchanted Workshop—along with the successes, lessons, and intentional decisions that shaped the journey.

Together, we’ll explore how an idea becomes a story, how a story shapes an environment, and how intentional decisions create meaningful experiences. Along the way, we’ll share how branding, marketing, Santa training, client communication, products, and business decisions all work together to strengthen the whole.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn alongside our Santa as we explore the relationship between photographer and performer, preparing for each session, creating authentic interactions with families, and discovering how thoughtful collaboration can transform an ordinary visit into an unforgettable experience.

We’ll openly share the ideas, decisions, successes, and lessons that have shaped our business while encouraging questions, discussion, brainstorming, and the exchange of ideas every step of the way.

Our hope is that this feels less like a lecture and more like a room full of creative people exploring possibilities together. Some of the best moments often come from the conversations we have together.
