1st day – Evening – Introduction

2nd day– Morning – lecture

  1. Philosophy of photography – approach to photography, parallels between photography and other arts.
  2. Composition – analysis of classic and rare types of composition in photography.
  3. Inspiration – analysis of works by great masters of photography and inspiration from other arts.
  4. Color – basics of coloristic, using classic color schemes for highlighting objects.
  5. Preparations for the shoot – imaging frame, preparing accessories, adjusting simple everyday stuff for using as photography props.
  6. Natural light – types and differences of indoor and outdoor light.

Afternoon –outdoor natural light shooting

3d day- Morning – lecture

  1. Indoor natural light. Needs to know for using proper camera parameters.
  2. Lighting schemes of natural indoor light – creating lighting modifiers from simple everyday stuff.
  3. Styling – inspiration, design, creating, using proper accessories.

Afternoon –indoor natural light shooting

4th day- Morning – lecture

  1. Studio light – types of artificial lights – flashes and continuous.
  2. Lighting schemes – 6 classic lighting schemes and their usage.
  3. Modifiers for creating artistic light – types of modifiers for creating dramatic picturesque light.

Afternoon –indoor studio light shooting

5th day- Morning – retouch

  1. Choosing frame – analysis of the raw material on the basis of technical and artistic elements.
  2. Camera raw retouch – basic lighting correction, sharpening, basic color correction.
  3. Photoshop retouch with AI elements – AI crop, skin retouch, background correction, toning, blending options, contrast and volume, lighting, AI filters, skin color and other secrets of retouch.

Sveta Butko is a self-taught professional child and family photographer based in Israel.

In late 2016, she gave up a career as an architect and got carried away with photography. Her education for a PhD degree in visual arts (architecture) and working as an architect for a few years gave her invaluable knowledge and experience that accompanying her in her photography career.

Soon, her images started to grab the attention of photographers around the world, and photography schools invited her to give lectures and workshops.

Her works are published both in local and international press, shown on book covers of the bestselling authors, exhibited at local and international fairs, featured in Vogue Italia, Canon Russia and Lens Magazine.

She has been invited to judge international photo contests and held more than 50 local and international workshops and lectures. Her students have gone on to win international photo awards.

She also organized a charitable photo forum and participated in charity photography projects for raising awareness about special needs and diseases.

She believes photography has an amazing power of ability to change the world. The expression of tender, deep, innocent feelings can give people relief and hope.
