Pre-con Class: Saturday, April 26
Creating Costumes and Sets
Hosted by Tanya Long
Saturday, April 26, 2025
10:00AM -5:00PM
Tanya will have you thinking outside the box and unleash the creativity you may not have even realized you have. This class will renew your spirit and have you excited to really push yourself creatively in every portrait session. And you will learn some amazing hacks to make your clients want to be involved in the whole process, which will in turn grow your profits.
Take your current portraiture to the highest possible level by designing and creating your own costumes and sets. Learn how to take common items you may already have lying around and turn them into elaborate creations. Then add the detail elements to push it over the top!
As a bonus…Forget the stress of set and wardrobe malfunctions while you’re out on location. Build a portable fail proof “MacGyver” style kit to give you the confidence to repair, mend or create most anything that you can dream up on the spot. This will give you the freedom to not just dream big, but to exceed your own expectations on set.
